Where does the money go?

Empty cinemaWe have finished filming.

We have finished editing.

Now comes the fun part, the premiere!  Just a couple more weeks and the 550 lucky, and generous, guests will be sitting in a big movie theater waiting for the lights to dim and the movie to begin.

But, now that we are actually running around town with the tickets and taking your money, we really wanted to tell you where all that money is going.  We’ve always said that we are giving 100% of the money we make with this movie to the International Women’s Club Foundation of Budapest.   But now, we have a little more data, directly from the IWCF about what they do with that money.  Here it is directly from them:

Details of the schools we sponsor for school meals:
Lakatos Menyhért Józsefvárosi Általános Iskola and Gimnázium
13 children;  113,000 HUF ($560) per month

Deák Diák Általános Iskola
Up to 60 children;  around 250,000 HUF ($1,250) per month

Magyar Táncmüvészeti Föiskola
Up to 35 children; around 250,000 HUF ($1,250)per month

Children’s Home  we sponsor with kind donations, outings for the children;
Kossuth Zsuzsa Gyermekotthon, Bicske

Assuming we sell all the tickets for the premiere, that’s nearly 2 months of school meals for 108 kids from the premiere income alone!

So on behalf of the kids, the International Women’s Club, and the cast and crew of Mocha Frapuchino, all we can say is:

THANK YOU!
